I forget Emim do you like good music? If so, use that CD time to get lost in the new Alt-J and appreciate the earthy acoustic goodness of the new Tigers on Trains.

If not, go about your business jamming Emery.

Insulting Emim at the expense of elegant and innocent Emery Sowing has lost his damn mind lately.

I've just been (for lack of a better word) binging on Anberlin ever since I first heard them. Fucking love the shit out of Cities and Vital.

I think I might like Vital a bit more than Cities honestly. I know it's a crime against humanity but fuck it, Self Starter and Other Side are total jams for me.

Nah I understand there's at least 2 albums, if not most of them, that are more consistent than Cities.

It's just that when Cities reaches its peaks, it's like holyshitwhatthefuckisevenhappeningisthiswhatanearorgasmfeelslike

Agreed. It's probably tied with Vital. That closing track is almost as good as Fin.

I really like about half of Cities. The rest is decent to a few skipable ones.

Honestly the middle of Cities is a tad weak.

There Is No Love... - Hello Alone - Alexithymia isn't the most inspiring trifecta. They're still pretty likable though, and the beginning and ends of the album are phenomenal

I love Reclusion and Mathematics is pretty sweet, too.

I think it shits out pretty hard after Godspeed with Adelaide and Whisper, but then comes back with Unwinding.

Reclusion is one of my top three or four Cities songs.
