Qobuz streams at least loosless cd-quality, in many cases in even higher quality. Tidal is good compared to shittify quality but compressed(at least the higher quality used to be) It's also dirt cheap for students. Algorithms and tv app(ps app non existent) are bad and selection is not as good as in some others, but still good in metal at least. Phone app is fine. It also pays most for the artists(even if its still peanuts). I recommend qobuz for sound quality alone if you are ready to get around these inconviences. Spotify is the worst of the worst in terms of sound quality.

tidal streams in uncompressed 24bit/48k now for files that support it.

I’ve been using tidal for about a year and I have no real complaints other than the desktop app being a bit buggy sometimes.

it’s better than Spotify for not forcing AI slop down your throat alone.
