introduction is still easily the best song on this for me. can't really get into the rest except for your deep rest, which is great.

This album is good, but overhyped. The singer sounds like he should be in a high school drama production. They use unnecessary odd tunings for no reason other than to seemingly seem advanced. The screaming doesn't really work, either.

3.0 meh.

I just saw them live last night, opening for Title Fight and La Dispute.

Setlist:

Scope

Your Deep Rest

Wildflowers

Discomfort Revisited

Nite Ratz Club

Introduction

Life In Drag

Dendron

It was quite simply the most inspiring and revelatory experience of my life. The band was perfect, on point with every note, energetic (far more than I expected them to be honestly), and just flat out incredible.

It was me and probably 6 or 7 other dudes in the pit, all in our early to mid twenties and, I would guess, have all been through the shit necessary to feel connected to an album like this, screaming every work back at Christian, surrounding by a crowd of mostly bewildered high schoolers who were there only for Jordan Dreyer, probably.

Best 30 minutes of my life, easy.

Discomfort Revisited sounds like Playing The Victim from The Story So Far's second record.

Never noticed, but really only the chorus is similar.

Also agree Dendron is rules over every other song, except intro.

How was it Snake? [2]

Seeing them myself for the first time in two weeks at Groezrock. Cannot wait!

Also, had to bump this up to a 5. It is just too amazing.
