I felt the same way the first few times I listened to this album. The Seduction as well as the title track are much more "immediate" than the other songs, but once you listen to it more you'll start to pick up on more of the nuance in both the songwriting and the lyrics on every track.

I'm not sure how I'd rank the songs here but The Greatest Actor through Best in Mexico is the best run on the album IMO. Those 3 plus Eating a Book are supremely good.
