Perhaps, but you can't tell me the lenghty intro of gurgling is a delight to the ears

gonna check this out despite rolling my eyes throughout the review - apparently it's written in stone that Choirs is the only good Kayo Dot, before this one, despite Dowsing Anemone in Copper Tongue being one of the most beautiful and strange albums that exist in the world?

Certainly a strange listen, first time through not sure what to make of it yet but first impression is that I think I like the second half better than the first.

That simple distant bass drum beat pattern in Passing the River might be my favorite musical part of the album at the moment. Love how it flows with the vocals.
