Airtight I checked with the vendor directly and got this:

"I am 100% certain this is original! None of the old demos I have seen have labels on them (yes, I have also seen some pictures of labeled tapes but the majority must have come without it) and several did pass through my hands back in the day - I was very active in the underground back then and have probably had two or three copies of each of the demos. I also have the original Schattengang Demo including envelope and A5 booklet, same here, no label on it. All demos came on the same type of cassette though. I got all the PDH demos through Torment Records (Armatus guy) or Todesstoss who were the first to distribute them in Germany at that time, way before most people had even heard of the band. And they are both legit guys!"

I'll buy that. Pretty sure this thing's real.

Oh man it was pretty infamous back in the day (before my time, even). As far as I know, the people in VC basically stole demos from other obscure bands and passed them off as their own, then later admitted to it online. But even then some of their own music actual music is acclaimed. I think it was supposedly pretty scandalous back in the day.
