yeah I've listened to it with headphones, and I'll absolutely grant you that the second half hits harder... I'll definitely listen again if only for the last two tracks (I wrote the other comment when the closer was just beginning)

Agree with Adrian. Especially about the second half thing.

that's cool if it's not your thing (speaking to anyone here), but I would recommend that you listen to the full album either with headphones, or some good, bass-heavy speakers before completely dismissing this.

You can't rely simply on the bass to save something though (not implying that this needs saving, but y'know, anything in general), it doesn't matter if the genres Jash is working in feature that bass as a staple

Enough is the best track by far, I really like how something really awesome happens after each "I would swallow razor blades for you" part

no of course not, and I hope I wasn't implying that Josh does. I just meant that, especially for people like Eric or Trebor that might not be used to this sort of stuff, it's important to pay more attention to the low end as you would for most music. Like, if you listen to this album with the wrong EQ levels then it's a whole other (weaker) album.

^ Agreed, stuff like The Woods and Giant Sun just sounds so much better on good speakers/earphones with good EQ settings than it does without. Lucky I got myself a Teufel system.
