its as if nothing could threaten this person except himself. you're your own worst enemy. your brain plays tricks on you. paranoia. he thinks people are coming up to get him when really he's just all by himself at the top of a building, tripping on drugs, about to leap to his own death for seemingly no legitimate reason.

i always considered Ive Seen Footage to be like, the root of all of MC Rides paranoia. its his attempt to describe the fucked up things he has witnessed and the guilt he felt after witnessing. for some reason, even though the footage disturbs him deeply, he continues to rewind it and watch it over and over. it fucks over his mental state permanently.
