This album was my gateway to extreme metal so I’ll always have a soft spot for it and I’m sure it was a gateway for loads of other kids too. I was about 14 and this was the first time I heard screaming and blastbeats and I thought it was heavy as fuck.

Then an older friend I played guitar with was like ‘no mate this isn’t heavy at all and showed me Cradle of Filth and Cannibal Corpse 🤣

Ngl i think this smacks the heck out of anything in either of those band’s discogs. Can’t top the rawness and pure intention of this record
