Different strokes for different folks I guess. I personally love both albums for different reasons. Shrines brings the intensity, Destroyers brings the mood.

Shrines is a very good album but this album is a cut above for sure. Cold Becoming and Dead Oceans were easily the standouts in their set list last night.

This really is the best Ulcerate for me. Sounds perfectly balanced between space to breathe and their signature chaotic songwriting.
