I own many albums that are timeless without being perfect, really. If you really wanted a good assignation for albums which bear that specific quality, timelessness, it would be better to separate it from the actual ratings system. As of now, because of the way things work, that grading scale culminates on quality alone, without really functioning as a reserved slot for 'timelessness'. Having that reserved slot, as such, probably distorts a lot of the responses to albums -- either people are too eager to give it to an album they like, even if they don't think it's perfect, or people are wary of ever giving it out, in case they should be seen nominating an album for 'timelessness', which bothers some people for various reasons.
