I would enjoy TOCS if Spencer's vocals weren't so ear-shattering and horrendous xD Seriously, it completely ruins the album for me...

They were amazing when Dallas was in the band, and really good when Spee first joined... then around the time DTGL was about to come out his voice was totally blown, which completely detracted from their live show.

Now they're good again, but they were still at their best (live) when Octavio and Dallas were still in the band.

The shrillness is what I love so much about his vocals on that album, love it.

Also, if this is indisputably their most engaging album yet, why are people disputing that statement?

It sounds like Spencer says that in The Impact of Reason, which is btw an epic song.

I don't either, but this one is pretty good.

see, thats what i'm saying, tocs had so many quotable lyrics that 6 years later still stick. no ones gonna remember anything from this album because nothing is memorable. its great but thats it. I loved spencers vocals on tocs btw.

This. And Spee's cleans on TOCs are awesome.

I stopped listening to underoath when I was 15 and never looked back. Maybe its the christian thing, maybe its the clean singing, horrible lyrics, maybe its the breakdowns and fans. I just dislike them. A lot.

Yeah, I agree a band's religion is a good reason to dislike them.

Breakdowns ruined music like totally.

And fans, yep that totally affects the music.
