The high pitched screams from Jason are phenomenal on it (and honestly every track he screams on). Song wouldn't be the same without his "HAS NO ONE TOLD YOU?"
Cries in Vain has always reminded me of the movie Mindhunters, where an FBI agent takes a bunch of cadets to and island to do a training investigation but then they start getting killed off in kind of fucked up ways by someone. We rented the movie from Hollywood Video the same day my mom took me to Circuit City to get the Hand of Blood EP and for some reason I've just associated that song with the movie.
