I've been listening to this recently, the one Trivium album I don't mind. It's not that bad, not amazing, but deffo not bad.

Cons:
- Terrible vocals throughout
- Bland, recycled riffing

The riffs are the highlight here amazing work very original riffing.
Vocals are just fine, as far as screaming goes and the clean vocals arent perfect but they do just fine in the confines of the songs here. A great album, triviums best. F u c k the haters.This Message Edited On 09.29.08

Sadly, this is their best album. The Crusade has horrendous vocals, and really, their metalcore + clean vocals has been their best phase.



Not a bad metalcore album as metalcore goes.

Embarrasingly, I quite like this :P

I greatly second Sylosis - The Supreme Oppressor. Can't go wrong with that unless you are The Wizard HAHA.

That The Agonist album has some pretty great tracks, but at the same time it has some pretty poor ones also so I'd suggest you to pick the better ones out.
i've heard that the Unearth album is good too, but I haven't listened to it myself.

Also try: Bloodsimple -" Red Harvest" (metalcore) and Malefice - "Dawn Of Reprisal" (a combinaton of death and thrash metal)
