That was my initial reaction (I also gave it a 2.5). Give the album a few more listens. Hooks will start to pop up everywhere and you'll find it enjoyable overall.

Umm, certain songs will be too bubbly & over-the-top for you at first Winsomniac. It's a matter of whether you're patient enough to let the goodness come to the top.
