actually, I've found a begrudging respect for the Celtics now, born out of my infinite hatred for el BJ and the Miami Super Friends.

You can't take back what's already been said.
|
| |
well I mean, you're still a punk ass that only talks shit to rookies that are a foot shorter than you, and Rondo still looks like the bastard child of Steve Urkell and a cartoon alien from the 1950s...
but I don't hate the Celtics as much as I used to.

sorry Pit, had to post this and revive this once legendary thread. I've been hesitant to gloat about my Bulls missing their top FA signing of the summer, yet still posting a better record than the Miami SuperFriends because I was worried (and still basically am) that the Heat are gonna roll off a 20 game winning streak at some point soon. But fuck it.
I LOVE WATCHING THE HEAT SELF-DESTRUCT!!!
|
| |
They should hire Wade Phillips, since the Heat players are bitchign about their coach "not letting them be themselves."
|
| |
Hahah.
|
| |
that's a great idea. They should also consider signing Allen Iverson, Glenn Robinson, Latrell Spreewell and JR Rider while they're at it.
|
| |
Fuck that, they should sign Dennis Rodman and bribe Michael Jordan's son out of college to play real ball.
|
| |
I hear Ron Mercer is available.
|
| |
And since they are soft on the boards, they need a real tough guy, like Derrick Coleman
|
| |
lol I bet Tom Gugliotta's on the market too
|
| |
Ill never forget when Coleman was demanding a 100 million dollar contract way before they were the norm.
Reporter: Why do you feel you deserve 100 million dollars?
Coleman. Because I'm Derrick Coleman
|
| |
almost as good as Latrell Spreewell threatening to hold out if the T-Wolves didn't give him $15 mil per year (when he was already making like $9 mil per season!).
Spreewell: "hey man, I got kids to feed."
what, like 70 of them?
|
| |
God that was a fucking joke
|
| |
so guys... is Derrick Rose the MVP so far this year?
He's 2nd in the NBA in scoring (at about 26.5 ppg), behind only Kevin Durant -- and he has a better field goal percentage AND three point percentage than Durant.
He's 8th in assists per game at about 8.5... the Bulls have managed to go 9-6 while playing arguably the most difficult schedule in the NBA so far AND they've been playing without Carlos Boozer.
D-Rose for MVP? if not, then who?
