No love for 'Spanish Sahara' Photon?

Awesome album. I must admit that I wasn't wow'ed the first time I listened to it, missing all the

fun of Antidotes (great drumming and guitars, irresistible dancing...).



Then, I gave it more listens and started to love each song one by one. Today I enjoy the whole album

except 'This Orient' (I just don't get it).



Spanish Sahara is currently in my top 5 songs of the year. I think it's a very important song to

listen to re-consider Foals.



That said, I can't wait for their next stuff, I wonder if they will keep up their ambitious rising

or if they will return to the fun/math of Antidotes.

I think that it always takes time for an album to sink in when a band changes direction so significantly. That is definitely the case here.



It's difficult to say what direction they will take next time around, but I think it will be one of two... Either they will (a) attempt to combine the 2 albums (which could be tricky), or (b) simply continue going in the 'TLF' direction & making it even better.
