It's my fav track when i'm listening to it then Afraid of Everyone comes on and I'm like OMG then lemonworld is like, so damn depressing...



IMO this combines the catchiness of Alligator with the morose atmosphere of Boxer and it's pretty brilliant.

This is the first National album I have acquired, and it's blown me away. I'll be backtracking through their discography for the next little while now.

I really like this album but I can't imagine being blown away by it as my first National album. I only got into this after I got into Boxer.

England is a pretty good track. Boxer and Alligator were a lot easier for me to get into than High Violet.
