Die Krupps did what Rammstein do way before them, though you could argue it was much more experimental and not even anything near as poppy as Rammstein
Though i think they are little known outside of Germany, and even here probably ony to music nerds

all my old edgy rock friends in junior high LOVED rammstein and I finally thought to give it a shot, some cool sounds and moments but overall very underwhelmed. To each their own! Okay back to FF love, jammed this Obsolete and DeManufacture yesterday and it was lovely. I need to try their other albums
