Don't know what to make of the new album. It seems a little more melodic and less brutal. In some ways the songs are better composed, but the riffs aren't really as awesome. Production is cleaner, which again is kind of a tradeoff between clarity and rawness. I'll probably review it in a week or so once i've sorted out my thoughts.

this band gains my observation and focus due to their doing something new with the death metal scene. The formulas they use in their song structures using all intruments should be a foundation ground for music in general. Most bands lack the atmosphere. Now this band isn't my all time fav but they are one of the few that have inspired me to broaden my writing capabilities and do something different

The first two songs on this album beat anything on The Destroyers of All, just my opinion. Overall they're very close and very similar though.
