Thankfully they got better after this record, nothing special at all.

This album rips for different reasons. Popcore is the best description I can give for it because it sounds so different from everything before and after it...

...and UØ is about to undergo yet another seismic shift by the sound of "On My Teeth".

I have yet to be convinced that these guys can write bad music. Of course albums 1 & 2 weren't the work of McTague but still were good in their own way.

I Don't Feel Very Receptive Today is favorite from this album because it's literally Spencer going the fuck in for two and a half minutes.

I don’t know how anyone can think this is their best tbh

It has enjoyable songs but it’s so basic compared the the next three

This was my fav for a long time but Define took it over, still second though. So I can def understand someone thinking this is best.

Basically I only know one song from this band

MMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
KNUCKLES HAVE TURNED TO WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEE
There's no turning back toniiiiggghhttt
KISS ME ONE LAST TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Not really my kinda thing tbh, but probably not bad for what it sets out to do

If that’s really all you’ve heard from the band, the next few albums will really surprise you. I love these guys but I almost never listen to this album

Easily the weakest of the Spencer era to me

a boy brushed red living in black and white will always be one the bands best tracks for me...

Even if it's still the only song that sticks out to me here

This so so easily their most fun record to listen too IMO, and every song is a stand out raging banger, and that's why it's best Underoath.

I agree with everything you said tbh. DTGL is def best overall imo, but this is just a step below. This album is full of bangers for sure.

Yeah if I'm gonna be super objective and critical DTGL is so obviously technically superior to this, but the fun-ness of this album just wins out everytime.

Yeah I think this is actually my favorite over DTGL the more I think about it. This is absolute perfection.
