I can't explain this band, the music is (at times) so devastatingly heavy, yet I feel so completely at ease whilst listening to it. Think I may have discovered dense, heavy music that is simultaneously interesting & relaxing. Brilliant but very confusing.
One day this could rival SATH, love the use of atmospheric passages which are more prominent than on The Beyond, perfectly balanced record & never gets boring, or overly repetitive despite it's 70+ runtime. Nice little snippets of unexpected experimentation as well.
And this is just the first listen, consider me impressed.

The Beyond is superb, agreed. It's a touch below this & (currently) this is a touch below SATH although I can see it growing further. Debut is also excellent.
