They’re both so amazing but I’d say this has a slight edge.

And Hammerheart too. Those three are unbelievably perfect.

Agreed, this is so much better
Also, why are you still budgie when you're clearly a sparrow
|

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I'd rank them the other way around (Hammerhart's a 5.0 for me at the moment, so is Blood Fire Death).
This should be a 5.0 too though. So so so good. Just waiting for that personal moment that I demand of my 5.0s. It's a rite of passage that just cannot be skipped.

the problem with hammerheart is i'm getting really sick of viking this, viking that, viking everything in popular culture. can't go 5 feet out the door without some norse stylized product being advertised to me. just feel too goofy now. whereas black mark is all about satan, elizabeth bathory, blood, etc., that shit never feels goofy to me. proper horror album
GOOOOOD OF HEEEAVEN HEEEAR MY CRIIIIIES OF AANGUISH IM IN PAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN
|

True. I totally get that. Riffs are just too good though.
And I can imagine that if you know (a lot) about that stuff it gets tiresome to see it everywhere and find all the faults that are probably there.
