they're sorta similar sonically but I get really different vibes from Loveless and Souvlaki
I don't think they're all that comprable except as "greatest shoegaze records"

agreed, listening to loveless makes you feel like you're in the middle of the music but this is a lot more expansive/spacey to my ears. it's like the difference between swimming (loveless) and flying (slowdive) both are incredible but i don't think they sound that similar and they definitely don't feel similar at all.
