Second half of Error is peak Deftones. Album is "aging" really well

Agreed, Error is absurdly good. Second half alone probably makes it my favorite off this

all of error is really damn good (that strung out delivery in those verses scratch that itch of druggy sounding deftones rlly well) but yea 2nd half of the song is next level which lasts until fuckin headless. stretch from 4-9 is so strong

I really can't pick a low point, the whole thing is just perfectly written and produced. This is probably their best sounding album since White Pony.

Pompeji is the weakest track imo and even that song is great
6 months later and I still think this might be their best record

"I really can't pick a low point, the whole thing is just perfectly written and produced. This is probably their best sounding album since White Pony." So we just gonna ignore the existence of Koi No Yokan?

Koi No Yokan was the original best Deftones album before Ohms came around

Koi No Yokan has its moments but there's also a ton of brickwalling on that album. I know Ohms isn't without its moments of heavy compression either but there's definitely more space in the mix.

Really? That's interesting I actually feel the complete opposite. Nonetheless both records rule hard.
