Yes. Helps that Macbeth is probably one of my favorite Shakespeare plays (maybe my favorite?). THRONE OF BLOOD is goated but indeed Polanski's rendition is sorely underrated imo. One of the coolest dream sequences (if you want to call it that? the 'hallucination' at the witch's coven) ever. Especially for the early seventies.

What he did was wrong, but the victim has long forgiven him, and she's also made it clear she's sick of people using her case as a weapon against Polanski. It's to each their own whether they wish to forgive Polanski or not, but for me, the only opinion that matters is the opinion of the victim.
