“Artists have stopped adhering to the classic masculine mold of the traditional hip hop artist and have introduced more feminine and emotional features into their music”

that being said hip-hop was indeed hyper-masculine as fuck for a long time, among other unsavoury things like sexist and homophobic... i love 90s hip hop but arguing against that is big stupid. big names from that era will even admit it.
but everything else lamb said was a 1/5

def not arguing against the notion that it is or was often hyper masculine, just saying that calling that the “point” of hip hop or whatever he said is stupid

it’s not that he’s bad, but this is probably the best production job I’ve ever heard

“def not arguing against the notion that it is or was often hyper masculine, just saying that calling that the “point” of hip hop or whatever he said is stupid “
I didn’t say anything like that. And you literally just said traditional hip hop wasn’t known for being masculine. You’re backtracking after you tried to correct me then got proven wrong like a fool so bad that even Pots agreed with me.
“ lambsbreath leaves for like 5 years and first thing he does when he comes back is start bitching about TPAB, which is all he ever did back then too”
I used to complain about how people overrate the fuck out of this album. The fact that it’s basically the only Hip hop album that’s been discussed on this site for the last 5 years proves that.
