I like this a lot better than Deja. Deja is alright but it just feels sort of bland to me. There are quite a few great songs however.

Oh I know this isn't lively, it just clicks a little better for me. Deja just doesn't hit me that well, it's sort of a chore to listen to for me. I've only really felt it a few times.

I know, I was typing that for a while, I hadn't seen your comment. Pop punk is generally catchy simply 4 chords upbeat dumbed down punk music. Green Day, The Story So Far, Say Anything, Finch, Gatsbys American Dream. Those are all pretty good examples of pop punk

I don't think this is bland, I just don't care for Deja. That's all. In my opinion it is bland. There isn't any depth in production and that detracts for me. This is mopey, but it just has a quality that Deja doesn't. I gave Deja a 3.5 so it's not like a hated it, I just like this more.

Nah I've never heard their first album. Idc if this is mopey or makes me depressed. It's amazing hard hitting music that conveys emotion beautifully. Plus I love it's sound too. Especially Limosine and welcome to Bangkok

I realize that. I listen to pop punk and three of the bands I listed employ emo and indie elements. That sort of tags along with the genre and I didn't feel like detailing an entire genre to someone who wasn't entirely sure what it is
