Ride the Lightining is the one that gets really close for me too. Specially since it isn't full of technical wankery like this and actually has some awesome softer moments with the obvious example being Fade to Black



But when it is about "being heavy" I suppose I prefer Megadeth's style since I find it to be less repetitive and I the riffs are catchier for me

I find it to be way more complex than Metallica's sound, specially some of the changing tempos. The sound is more varied imo?

Coroner is pretty cool. I love the rhythm section for that band, but there are similar artists like Voivod and Anacrusis that are better, IMO.
