I thought about this a lot lately. Listening to this album again made me realize how bad this band actually is. I mean, White Pony had some redeeming qualities, but let's be real, it's mostly Maynard. This album though ... it's like it's not even trying to achieve anything. No riffs, no melodies, even the vocals suck (and that probably a nu metal thing so I can forgive that).

The funny thing is: I tried to bump my rating for WP down from 4.0 to 1.5, but the site replied with "No" and didn't change anything. The website itself is clearly biased towards favoring shitty music

Man, I do not get this. Chino is one of the best vocalists in rock/metal. His performance on this album (aided by the studio, obv) is totally captivating.

LOOOOOOOOL you're clearly upset with something. I could say Periphery sucks and its awful, but I learned and now rather say that they are definitely not for me. Maybe that brings some sort of light to what I tried to tell you here. You clearly waste a lot of time with music you don't like. Just change your gears to the music you like such as BTBAM, SikTh or the great Peripherys of this world.



Edit: Deftones started with little peripherys in a ball sack. If anything, periphery learn out of Deftones, too bad their mix of lame attempts of melodic deftones with djenty genericore does not match my taste.
