'My new stuff is Vektor level and beyond son, ya better believe it. But then again it's really bad at parts to make the actual good parts stand out that much more. Smrt technique right?'
Damn, the man is a genius!
I laughed pretty hard actually, easily amused I guess.

Yes...easily.

@Source: if you do, let me know what you think!
@50il: In all seriousness, I'm pretty damn proud of what I have so far, so I hope it pleases those who listen to it. Of course, it will get compared to what we did in Vektor 99% of the time, but I think it will easily be able to stand on its own.
@LOVEANDACCEPTANCE: Whenever I try to write slow stuff I always just default back to "ah shit what am I doing, I GOTTA GO FAST" hahaha. It probably won't happen my dude, speed riffs are too ingrained in me these days.
@Egarran: That part in LCD from 3:05-3:12, for sure. https://youtu.be/kEAsNxcIGKM?t=185
@Demons of the Fall: I'm glad someone thinks I'm at least a little bit funny haha. bloc loves it too, he just will never admit it ;). bloc does have a sweet thumbnail though, Yoshi's Island is the shit.

Anyone else look up the credits of this album as soon as they heard Collapse to make sure that's David DiSanto on vocals? I couldn't believe it at first.

^So that part in Slayer's Raining Blood 2:11-2:37 was stoner doom as well?

Album works a treat on long train journeys. Collapse is fast becoming a favourite, that said weaknesses are not meant for this epic, they belong to lesser releases bestowed upon us by mortals.

This erik guy rules.

@LOVEANDACCEPTANCE: Right on dude, glad to hear that. You'll clearly hear about it when it's finally done.
@FirstStrikeIsDeadly: It was definitely him, I was there when he did it haha. I understand why anyone would think this though haha.
@Egarran: If you find a better candidate, let me know :P
@DePlazz: I believe the question was "Which part comes closest to stoner doom?" And we don't have any, whatsoever (thank sweet babay jesus).
@Demon of the Fall: Weaknesses are very present, just hidden and super subtle :D. Like my emotional state. On a more positive note, we mortals sure have a lot of cool music to enjoy overall, it's pretty astounding.
@BigPleb: This Large Pleb guy is a swell bloke also. 4.5/5 would say plenty of words to again.

Aiwaz is banned period unless he gets his own IP address or something.
On that note, did you finish this yet Source?

How the hell did he manage to get IP banned?
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
He didn't really get into it because he doesn't know either. I think he listed banned users he was portraying or whatever that led to it.
|
| |
Dang that's next level banishment
|
| |
Wait, who got banned for what now? I'm missing a crucial link in the story here, plot holes are afoot!
|

I cant really remember Aiwaz myself lul.

How can anyone who frequents Sput metal threads not remember him?... the guy was everywhere. Yes he was a prominent Tool fan-boy amongst other things. I will always be grateful for his constant eulogising of Back to Times of Splendour, gave me the push I needed. In fact he liked a lot of good stuff tbh.

Aiwaz...went off the deepend.
White power alts, calling 99% of women backstabbers and mopping about his divorce/personal life in a list which got deleted...it was bad. I don't blame the mods for banning him, in a Discord server I was in with him his behavior became increasingly erratic.
