'The nice thing about Ars's hypothetical HTTT tracklist is that PABLO HONEY would no longer be Radiohead's objectively worst album'
This is literally impossible, even if I cherry-picked all the worst tracks tbh.
'Amnesiac is an essential companion piece' (2) - whoever said that, or similar - may have misquoted. Far too many comments, I ain't reading all that again.

I Might Be Wrong is the best Radiohead song but yeah Glasshouse rules

Me and Ars finally on the same page about something re Radiohead.
@demon: Was mostly being flippant there; sure, PABLO will always be the worst but even it is not without its handful of worthy moments. I still jam 'I Can't', 'Prove Yourself', and 'Stop Whispering' on a regular basis.
Fuck 'Creep' tho for real.

Can we all at least agree Idioteque is the best track out of both albums?
|
| |
that would be one entry-level take too many on this entry-level radiohead album

Idioteque is great but it’s not even close to the best track on either

Too much work, I just ranked all 30 Melody’s Echo Chamber songs

Can we all at least agree Idioteque is the best track out of both albums?
Counterpoint: The National Anthem, How to Disappear Completely, Morning Bell, Motion Picture Soundtrack, Pyramid Song, You and Whose Army, Like Spinning Plates, and Life in a Glasshouse are all superior to Idioteque.
But you were close !

I Might Be Wrong > all Radiohead songs ever
Packt Like Sardines, Morning Bell (Kid A version obviously), and National Anthem all kick Idioteque’s ass too
But yeah Idioteque is still wonderful

Tbh if I Might Be Wrong is bottom tier, then Radiohead is an awful band with no redeeming qualities
That’s how absurd I find it not liking that song but liking Radiohead

TOP TIER: Pyramid Song; Life in a Glass House
HIGH TIER: You and Whose Army?; Morning Bell/Amnesiac; Like Spinning Plates
MID TIER: I Might be Wrong; Knives Out; Dollars and Cents
LOW TIER: Packt Like Sardines; Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors; Hunting Bears
fwiw I like all the songs tho, just wanted an equal distribution among the tiers.
