Science Fiction was the perfect ending, if they have recorded new music it can be an EP

Every time I say I'm done

But you say "I don't think that you are"

Now with your voice in my lungs

I can float through the ceiling

Eight years of tin foil hats finally paid off. What a time to be alive. If they drop new music, I fully trust they’d only do it if it’s a worthy follow-up

Apparently Jesse started a new band called Human Surfers and they're playing a bunch of new songs right now

I really don’t know how I feel about that. Do we know if it’s in addition to Brand New or instead?

"Adios" was the one that immediately caught my ear as the best of the new tracks, but I haven't gotten to the one about his son's death yet

Man, it's gonna be nearly impossible to release something that is

1.) In league with their other stuff
2.) Adequately exists in conversation with the narrative of the band post-Science Fiction

Genuinely, what do you do? The band have made it's raw-nerve lyrics a central aspect to their appeal, and Jesse already kinda covertly spilled his guts about his actions on everything post-Deja.

That being said, they can't simply go back to YFW-style nothings with an album full of "I Am A Nightmare" type songs.

Just seems like such a losing proposition. And, yes, for this instance I am very glad that new users can't join the fray. The poppunkers subreddit is a vile place where people will actually downvote anyone who point out Jesse's crimes lol
