I guess Mastodon, Deftones, and Deafheaven dominate the metal landscape of sputnikmusic this decade.

The fact this only has a 4 avg is kinda stupid.

I expect within due time it'll at least go up to a 4.1 and maybe in a longer span 4.2. I could be wrong and it could go downhill though too because this band attracts so much negativity.

I wish I could listen to Vertigo for the first time again, the eruption of guitars with that 'sour quality' is such a climax on this album.

Me and my friends had a perfect view of the show on the upper level.

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/deafheaven/2018/union-transfer-philadelphia-pa-63eb3eeb.html Its been pretty much that for the entire tour but for some reason the first show had Come Back on the setlist too so they had the most songs.

Is their singer still in his “looking like old Greg” phase

starting to check this one now. Why is this so much better than the new one or mainly New Bermuda?

I've been listening to this a lot lately, easily their best and most consistent. First 5 minutes of Vertigo is incredible. Dream House into Irresistible is also really nice, basically one song, like The Long Defeat/Seneca by Thrice.
