House of Love, Love confirmed.
Thank Gawd for that.

"House of Cards is good but All I Want does everything it does a bit better imo”
They’re kind of similar but House of Cards is a lot more romantic than All I Need. That falsetto at the end is swoon worthy.

it is, I just think the slightly more foreboding sound that All I Need morphs into suits them better

never been a fan of when Radiohead goes for straight cheese like True Love Waits

This album has no bad songs for me. Don’t dislike house of cards like many. Don’t dislike any of it. First album I “found on the internet” tho so very special to me

go slowly off disc 2 is also top 3 for me, might be their most beautiful song

I ever only kind of liked disc 2 but obviously that’s not an issue. Certainly glad Up on the ladder and bangers and mash didnt touch the real thing though

Jigsaw is awesome but there’s like 3.5 elements (background vocals, lyrical structure of verse 1, bridge progression, maybe a BIT yorke’s octave change), that are slightly corny about it that don’t add up to a corny song but it’s just a bit “extra”
It’s really great though still one of the best tracks here
Weird fishes is just too beautiful though, I always sink into it immediately.

bangers + mash is a cheeky joint that wouldn't fit, indeed (tho I don't mind it in a vacuum), but up on the ladder absolutely bangs! perhaps my favorite from DISC 2. down is the new up is awesome, too, but that one also has a very different... vibe, i guess.

I like down is the new up. pretty HTTF-ish, though I'm not sure where it'd go. Bangers and Mash just feels like Mash no bangers to me, too tuneless or whatever. Whenever it comes on it takes very little time for me to dislike that guitar motif

Let Down is fs a top 5 Radiohead track, and possible contender for their best. Weird Fishes is also awesome but I’d put Reckoner or Videotape above it

Cool to see some 5s on this page. Been considering bumping this. Might be their best—it’s always been between this and Kid A for me. OK Computer also rates very high.

My traditional pick for best Radiohead track has long been “Exit Music” but as of late I’ve been leaning hard into “Motion Picture Soundtrack”. It reminds me a lot of Björk’s “Unravel”. “Life in a Glasshouse” always finds its way into my Top 5, too. A very underrated track from a very underrated album.

also, why does this review take Disc 2 into account? that’s a separate EP of B sides

There were no rules back in ‘07.

I’m with Gyro it’s always a juggle of this and Kid A for me too

Reckoner and House of Cards were good. I remember this was pay for what you want or free before bandcamp.
I paid 5 dollars twice because I forgot to download it once and yea w/e. 10 for an album of music from the stature of this band didn't seem out of line. Even though I remember little about it.

This and Kid A are best and OKC is third yah, though I get a surprisingly little amount of thrill out of, like, most of OKC. Still great though
I also downloaded this when it was pay-what-you-want and I was 11/12 years old lol. Paid ZERO!!!!
