I don't either, they show shades of it like the bridge to How I Disappear "Can you hear me cry out to you". It's my favorite part, and how I disappear is also like my favorite on here.
I was really disappointed in that aspect, I find that I really enjoy throwbacks combined with modern rock/pop rock/etc.

The title track is so good
god damn I love this album
even with the nostalgia goggles off, I still believe 'Welcome to the Black Parade' to be a perfectly crafted song.

I almost forget how much I enjoy this album when I'm in the mood for it. I Don't Love You may be one of my favorite pop songs of the past 20 years.

This sounds like try hard to be uber cool rock. In this style I would reccomend you check out the band The Living End. They do this style minus the cringe effect.
