Saw them at The Piece Hall show in Halifax and man, that was the perfect venue for these guys. It suited the Opeth atmosphere perfectly and it was one of the first concerts I’ve been to where I could clearly hear each instrument. Mikael Akerfeldt is also really funny.

I think part of the issues is the lack of song titles that makes this harder to go back to. Either that or because Mikael threw so much shit at the wall and its kind of a mess, still a good mess but its a very messy album

I agree. Heritage is good. But, sincerely I expected a bit more of it. The problem is that I've huge expectations with all the albums of Opeth.

I disagree. I hope the next one is weirder. They’ve got 14 albums in their catalogue and most of them are critically acclaimed. They’ve earned going all out in experimentation imo.
