"I think about it all the time" has been the biggest grower for me so far. Loving the old school Streets vibes.

The lyrics to mean girls turn my stomach, not even a Charli hater, she's been one of my favourite artists for years, but female empowerment by virtue of glorifying hedonistic self-absorption is just gross (the anorexic line is cringe too)

I can't imagine Charli hasn't hit that note lyrically before. Hedonism seems a big theme.

I think the lyrics on Mean Girls are pretty clearly a pastiche. She said in an interview she's more curious about the aesthetics of edgy culture than actively engaging with it. Like, yeah, there's a ton of valid criticisms of Dasha and Red Scare but there's an appeal that's there for a lot of people and the song is sorta celebrating that with a very surface level read. Don't think it's that big of a deal

Dasha is one of the hosts for the Red Scare podcast, which is a dirtbag left pod that has kinda completely lost the plot in terms of weighing values against edge. Most famously, they hung out with Alex Jones and posed for some photos a few years back
