"cmon JT there are at least 3, maybe 4 songs on here that are better than any song off of SBS"
Haha, there isn't 1 song on here that's close to being better than the best songs on SBS.

5 this or derp, if you don't jam this your IQ is below 70

It's not so much a lack of quality that makes this inferior to the real Sabbath for me, it has more to do with the style they played on here and Mob Rules. It doesn't really stand out from other NWOBHM being released at the time, whereas Ozzy-era Sabbath was something that was completely unrivalled at the time and still is today.

Verm, your posts suggest that you're IQ is below 5.

I think this stands out quite a bit from other NWOBHM. A lot of bands in that scene were based on dual-guitar leads and this isnt. Its still unmistakably Iommi.
|
| |
There are differences musically sure but it still doesn't stand out like the real Sabbath sound did back in the 70's (and still does, with only shameless imitators sounding similar).

twort you don't even djent so don't insult verm, go derp somewhere else 😉 😘

Tbh jamie is perhaps the most bitter, butthurt and laughable twat eva. I mean, the comment wasn't for him and he replied, learn to read pussy, your response shows that you are a whiny queer, not only that, your IQ is below 2 fella. If you consider that this and satriani are overrated but you defend white lion you must de deaf or stupid
|
| |
lol I didn't think it was aimed at me, I assumed correctly that it was one of your general derp comments. And you make it sound like I think White Lion are better than this which I don't. Now calm down and carry on derping or djenting or whatever the hell it is you do.

Comparing the two in the first place is everyone's first mistake

Dio is legend, but Ozzy was so doomed from the very beginning. No one was more fit for Sabbath than Ozzy. He's sent from hell, straight.

Good review though I wouldn't put this album under the Doom Metal genre. This is more like heavy metal with a slab of power metal.

Good late night album. Though on first listen, I felt like it didn't fully kick into gear until the title track.

Idk, man. This has three or four really awesome tracks, but some of it is just kind of there
