i dont remember anything about this and should probably revisit it but yeah i am more worried than excited tbh lol
|
| |
are any of the tracks on the new one written by Anders
bc the thought of Katatonia as a purely Jonas band is impossible to take seriously
|
| |
anders quit
|
| |
i mean he didn't contribute to songwriting since they were last good, which was a hell of a lot of time ago

Jonas wrote the whole NISTND so I'm pretty much confident he can manage.

Night rules super hard and is one of their best. City Buriaks is their worst by a trillion miles for me. Only one I really can't stand.
|
| |
Night is one of their few albums I can stand fwiw but Jonas is still the most useless wet flannel frontman in metal maybe

Night takes a nosedive right after Forsaker, but is generally okay.

Lilac's outro is amazing, I dig both of the singles but that part is one of my fav moments from the band so far. So atmospheric and soulful.

New songs are quite minty.

I like the new album. It goes back to the misery of Great Cold Distance, but with the prog influences of the last album (which I could honestly do without).
