I think They Move Below works really well for the flow of the album, which is fucking wild because it's a 9 and a half instrumental just slapped in the middle of it lol, but as a single I don't think it stands out as much. It serves as a great segway when listening to the album in its entirety imo

i think the last 3 minutes of that song is what elevates it from a good song to a great song. it does flow good with the album agreed! I feel like im just getting started with this album. pretty dense record.

Based on my first couple listens I'm nearly certain Immutable is my second favorite Meshuggah LP. I'm sure it's a 4.5 for me so that's pretty much all I need to know to assure myself this is real life. I do like DEI but I have it lower mainly because I just don't like re-visiting it. Most of it didn't really stick with me.
