Saying that there are 3 Priest songs better than Hallowed is lunacy

straight up

I already said I am more of a Maiden fan than a Priest fan, but that is mostly because of the last two Powerslave tracks.

I find Powerslave and Seventh Son to be better than Sad Wings, especially lyrically, but all three of them have my 5.

I can personally only put the last two of those in the same league as Powerslave and especially the final two Powerslave tracks. Bruce's vocals seemed to me like the ultimate strongest link of 80s Maiden.

Not many don't love it. The reason I have Powerslave as a 5 and not this is mostly consistency. I find only tracks 2, 5, 6, and 8 to be fives on this album while I consider only "The Duelists," "Back in the Village," and "Losfer Words" to be the only non-5s on Powerslave, and they are not even half the album.

I've grown particularly fond of DiAnno Era Maiden, but yeah, I easily take SWoD over any of Maiden's first 7.

[2]. I would never put even my three least favorite tracks on Powerslave lower than a 4.
