It is insane how fucking whiny RYM got when 'dissonant death metal' became a genre tag. Like yeah 'dissonant' may be misleading but dissodeath is its own scene with a decently long history, and having that tag has brought people to check out the lesser known albums in this style. I have no idea why anyone would get mad about people calling a band dissodeath, it seems like such a minor thing to complain about
