First six songs are. Trails off a bit though (aside from the beautiful piano of Long Dark Night). It's a bit too religious-rapture for me but I guess the guy's been through a lot.

It is probably his best since Skeleton Tree, and considering that these guys dont release bad albums thats saying a lot
Although i can see why the religiously themed lyrics can be off putting to some it doesnt bother me at all

Ghosteen is his career peak and masterpiece, but I get why some don't like it. It would be quite natural for people who didn't like Ghosteen to overrate Wild God, but at least it's a great album, so I don't care...

second listen of the new one, enjoying it, not always massive on gospel but that influence works well here - last two tracks are a bit weaker, the Lambchop-y one 'O Wow O Wow' is maybe going to grow on me.

I really like the ending of O Wow O Wow - quite different for them. Joy is much better than I though it'd be. Cinnamon Horses doesn't do it for me though - hope it grows.

It's about to come on now... Here's hoping it clicks. (edit... I have grown to really like the "You said that" bit, but could do without the references to "strawberry moons")

Man the piano on Long Dark Night is satisfying. I have underrated this.

Yay for the Joy love. And the last minute of O Wow O Wow is perfect. (just found out that is Anita Lane)

Think the Greenwood bros from Radiohead played a bit on the new one too

New one is quite enjoyable, but feels a little predictable given his recent run of albums. He's consistently excellent at this point, though.

Cinnamon Horses is one of my faves. It’s not blowing me away overall but definitely a solid addition

Well
Time to spin.

Hollywood is one of his greatest songs without a doubt
