Last year's The Ocean is definitely worth your time starless! I dunno if the genre is dead. Seems its looking like twice in a row that an album in the genre is gonna be my aoty, and I'm not even that well versed in post-metal tbh.

Loved Vertikal, but I see this supplanting it. In terms of releasing consistently great music, I can only think of a few bands that are on their level. A band who immediately spring to mind are Dirge, but they never got close to the recognition they deserved.
