a types was a slow grower for me but i think its aged pretty decently and feels riskier in the context of their discog. this gets kinda samey sometimes

It’s just as samey as their first two releases honestly. This still riffs and has good production and atmosphere which A Types lacked and this also proves superior to Magnetic North.

Yeah i highly agree with that sentiment being used for hopesfall. Magnetic north and the others all influenced my overall perspective so much. This band was my modern day Pink Floyd

Magnetic North was a hugely foundational album for me growing up for sure, I think it's definitely their best

A Types has really grown on me over the years, it doesn't really have the sci-fi sound of the other albums but I think what it does is really unique. It's like this kind of alt rock/post-hardcore mix and then that is interspersed with heavy parts that are really well-done because of the band's past. Would love to hear more stuff like that but I haven't found any albums that really do the same thing.
