They did a Facebook live video yesterday and the last five minutes or so they were asking people to comment why they were hating it so much. Aaron said something like if someone hates beets they probably won’t go online talking about why they hate beets and that people who hate their music on the internet are probably doing it for fun. And he said that they wanted to make a record for everyone that wasn’t the same because no one wants to hear them make the same album again.

Also Spencer responded to someone hating on his lyrics by saying that just because he doesn’t sing about crystal balls and forests anymore doesn’t mean they’re bad and that he wants to sing about real stuff.
