There is always dec metal. Just like there is always a ton of shit. Search through it at your peril.

There's a decent prog rock album here that's stuck in a really awful technical death metal album. As it is, it's pretty tedious and generally frustrating. The riffing and drumming is lifeless, the vocals aren't anything that we haven't heard in metalcore and deathcore for the past decade or two and the composition is patchwork at best. The production is also laughable at points. The beginning of Old Nothing is a pretty good example of how vacuous the entire album's "metal" sections are.

inthox. Time is the big issue. Luckily i can listen to music during full time job but only because my job sucks and I'm not giving a fuck at the time lol...I started to listen a lot of albums latelly and tks to sputnik. But i have a lot of friends that I know would love some of the things i've been llistening to, but they simply don't have time neither mental readiness.

I don't really see that much real prog here. Honestly I find to be more of a deathcore album thats actually dm + the melody and feel of metalcore a la misery sigs, as opposed to lazy suffocation style death metal with heaps of breakdowns like early suicide silence

could really see them taking this style to higher places and releasing a really great record but this has a bit of a messy unfocused feel to it

It's a pretty great album with its highlights alone, but it's no classic.
