Deja Vu might be one of their most underrated tunes

Sometimes I have second thoughts on whether this is my favorite Maiden over Powerslave, Beast of Seventh Son. But then I just listen to any of the tracks on here and end up jamming the whole damn thing.

Hmmmm, I'd say yes after Killers and Powerslave. All the little references on the back are really fun though

Somewhere in Time was an interesting one for me. I remember picking it up on the day of it's release. On first listening, I didn't care for it all that much...."Maiden? & synths??".....it just didn't work for me & I never really gave it a chance. Somewhere in Time sat idly, neglected, at the back of my collection for a number of years. One night after a long beer drinking session, I pulled it out and gave it a spin. How wrong could a man be? This is not the album I remembered all those years ago. It was/is a fucking superb piece of work. These days, it's probably my most played Maiden release.

Adrian is the star of the show here, an under rated guitarist and very talented writer. Sea of Madness is a personal favorite.

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner might be the most underrated Maiden track in their entire discog, never hear anybody talk about how amazing it is. Might be in my top 5 overall.

I would've loved to pick this up on its day of release. I was probably busy adding to my Garbage Pail Kids collection.
