If this was like a band's debut or something, then it would be probably recieved so much better... but this is Metallica and they are truly capable of so much more than this.

I love pre-black albums era by Metallica.(even the black album is very good), and live they are nearly Gods.

Maybe im dreaming but i hope the new album will be good, never know?.

I think we all know it can't get much worse than this, unless it sounds like new A7X.

Considering the A7X album rating is higher than this one, i would say most people would disagree with you... And no one was talking about them in the first place. We know you dont like them, you've made that clear too many times. And frankly....we don't really care anymore...

They tried something new, but only succeeded partly, the production also did not help them on this one.

I nearly never listen to this album anymore, mostly because on the very long cd, there are only a few tracks a really like, songs like "sweet amber" and "some kind of monster".
